Welcome to SoDa
Fun SOcial & DAnce events fostering connection, support and wellbeing to people in the Hawkesbury.
The emphasis is on SOCIAL and FUN. These events are opportunities for the community to come together, socialise and if inclined to have a go at partner dancing! When we have regular opportunities to connect and have fun, we feel good and this can flow through to all parts of our life.
Matthew and Dani are there to lead the way at each event and additional supports will be available at all events for people who need a bit more of a chat.

Current restrictions have significantly reduced the ways we can connect with each other. Social connectivity is essential for emotional wellbeing and we want to make sure that we create other FUN ways to be together in the interim.
The SoDa team plans to host weekly zoom events. At these events, you will have the chance to meet with the SoDa team and people from all over the Hawkesbury. Come connect with us, make some new friends and learn a few moves for the dance floor. These events are weekly on Friday nights, 6.30pm to 7.30pm, and open to all.
Some people may just want to listen in to the sessions. Others may want to share and join in. SoDa Supports will facilitate the sessions to make sure that everyone has an opportunity to talk and feel included.

With current restrictions it has meant that we are unable to hold our events in person. SoDa is now on zoom every Friday night at 6:30pm. Everyone is welcome, invite your family and friends for some fun and connection in the living room.
